Athenna Crosby

Athenna, our newly crowned Miss World America 2024, is a Los Angeles-based entertainment journalist, actress, and model. With a Bachelor’s in Communications, she shines on the red carpet and in pop culture commentary.

 

Best known as the spokeswoman for the Oscar-qualifying Cinequest Film Festival, she has interviewed stars like James Franco and Imagine Dragons.

A passionate advocate for disability rights inspired by her brother Adrian, she’s volunteered with Best Buddies and more for over a decade. Nominated for San Francisco Bay Area’s Champion of the Year 2023, Athenna’s efforts include establishing Autism Awareness Month in San Jose.

 

As a vocalist, she’s performed at the Giants vs. Padres MLB game and the Dalai Lama’s 80th birthday celebration. She also plays the Alto Saxophone and the Cuatro.

Proud of her Latina heritage, Athenna is the first Venezuelan-American Miss World America.

She will be representing the United States during the 72nd Miss World Finals to be held in 2025.
